When it comes to smart driving, there are no shortcuts. It takes hard work and practice, practice, practice. In your role as a parent, partner and instructor, it’s your job to make sure your teen gets enough practice to:

  • Learn basic driving skills such as braking, turning and parking.
  • Learn more complex driving skills such as passing, changing lanes and entering and exiting freeways .
  • Gain experience in as many driving situations as possible.
