Staying in your lane sounds simple. But it takes practice to get the hang of it. It's important to keep your car moving straight within your lane - so you don't weave or drift out of it. Sometimes, you'll need to change your position in a lane. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Keep to the center most of the time so that there is distance between you and other cars.
  • Drive slightly on the left when making a left turn or when you need extra space from cars on the right.
  • Drive slightly on the right when preparing to park or when you need extra space from cars on the left.
